這個巴基斯坦小女生，11歲開始在BBC上寫日記，描述塔利班政權禁止女性受教育，女孩們不敢上學，自己又渴望上學、受教育的期盼。寫著寫著，小女生的心聲與抱負，竟成了塔利班政權的眼中釘，在她15歲那年，派了槍手朝她的頭部開槍射擊，震驚國際。
