不切實際|unrealistic

當事物或想法不符合現實狀況的時候，我們就用unrealistic來描述這種情況，impractical也有相同意思。類似的字還有impracticable 行不通的，不能實行的。unrealistic還有「不真實的」意思，相反字是realistic真實的，逼真的。

例句：

1. It’s unrealistic to expect children to behave well all the time.
   希望孩子隨時隨地都守規矩是不切實際的。

2. Many parents have unrealistic expectations of their children.
   許多父母對自己的孩子抱有不切實際的期許。
