通貨膨脹|inflation

通貨膨脹（inflation）簡稱「通膨」，指的是流通的貨幣增加，導致物價上升，消費者手中的貨幣相對能買到的商品也就相對變少。通膨的相反是「通貨緊縮」（deflation）。停滯性通貨膨脹（stagflation）指的是經濟停滯（stagnation）、高失業率（high unemployment rate），加上通貨膨脹問題的經濟現象。
