（貨幣）貶值|depreciate

貨幣貶值是指某一特定貨幣的價值下跌（受市場供需影響），其英文的說法為depreciate，名詞為depreciation。其它與貨幣貶值相關的字彙，還有表示「降低價值」的devalue，其名詞為devaluation。值得注意的是，devalue/ devaluation也可用來表示貶值之意，但差別在於專指施行固定匯率制的國家，政府下定決策，進行貨幣的貶值。

例句：
1.The euro has depreciated 16% against the dollar in the past six months.
在過去半年來，歐元對美元的匯率已經下跌了16%。

2.Experts believe the yen will continue to depreciate against most major currencies.
