返鄉|return to one's hometown

春節過年許多在外工作的台灣人會返鄉，返鄉可以說 return to one's hometown，hometown 指「家鄉或老家」，也可以說 birthplace「出生地」、homeland「家園」、native land「故鄉」。

例句：

1. Will you be returning to your hometown for the Chinese New Year?
   你打算回老家過農曆新年嗎？
2. After quitting his job, Peter returned to his hometown and became a farmer.
   彼得辭職之後返鄉當農夫。
