消暑|cool off

「消暑」字面上可以說 get relief from the summer heat，不過 cool off 是更常用的片語。cool off 除了指字面上的「降溫消暑」，也有「冷靜下來」的意思，等同 calm down。

1. Kevin likes to cool off in the summer with an ice-cold beer.
   凱文喜歡在夏天來杯冰涼的啤酒消暑。
