會議約時間、改期、提前、延後，用英文怎麼說？

不管是跟國外客戶約會議、出差安排，或是跨國團隊協作，「安排行程」都是商務英文裡最常出現的情境。今天幫大家整理出台灣人在安排行程時最常見的英文錯誤，以及正確說法，下次安排會議、約時間時，英文聽起來更專業、更自然！

錯誤 1：問時間時說 What's your convenient time?

（Ｘ） What’s your convenient time?
（Ｏ） When would be a good time for you? / When are you available?
解析：
外國人不太會用 "convenient time" 來問對方什麼時候方便，他們會用 "good time" 或 "available" 來問對方什麼時間合適。
更好的說法：
✔ When would be a good time for you? 你什麼時候方便？
✔ When are you available? 你什麼時候有空？

錯誤 2：會議改期用 change the meeting?

（Ｘ） We need to change the meeting.（不清楚，搞不懂要改會議內容，議程，還是時間）
（Ｏ） We need to reschedule the meeting.
解析：
在正式場合，如工作 email、會議通知，會用 reschedule 這個專業詞來說「改期」。
更專業的說法：
✔ We need to reschedule the meeting to next week. 我們需要把會議改到下週。

錯誤 3：會議「提前」不是 early！

（Ｘ） 常見錯誤：
• Can we make an early meeting?（這聽起來像要早上開會）
• Can we have the meeting in advance?（in advance是「事先、預先做」，這句聽起來像在某件事發生前先開會。）
（Ｏ） 正確說法：
• Can we move up the meeting to 10 a.m.? 我們可以把會議提前到上午 10 點嗎？
• Let’s move up the meeting if possible. 如果可以的話，我們把會議提前。
move up這個片語很好用，但它也容易用錯，例如，要提前行程：
（Ｘ） Let’s move up the schedule.（語意不清，通常 schedule 是整體行程，不能直接 "move up"）
解析：
如果指的是一個具體的會議或任務提前，可以用 move up the meeting / event／task，不會直接說「提前行程表」。行程表（schedule）是一整套規劃，不能移動「行程表」，只能移動裡面的「項目」。

錯誤 ４：會議「延後」不是 late！

（Ｘ） 常見錯誤：
• Can we delay the meeting?（delay是「延誤、耽擱」，一般的「推遲」，用delay很不自然）
• Can we make the meeting late?（沒有這種說法，外國人可能聽不懂）
（Ｏ） 正確說法：
• Can we push back the meeting to 4 p.m.? 我們可以把會議延後到下午四點嗎？
• Since we have a conflict in the afternoon, I was wondering if we could push back the meeting to later this week? (行程有衝突，可否把會議延到本周稍後時間？)
