外國人叫你 Hit me again！你可別真的揍他

Sam 的外籍同事去拜訪一位新客戶，談一個產品發表的案子，他問同事，談得如何？外籍同事說：＂We hit it off right away. ＂
天哪，怎麼第一次見面就大打出手了？這是怎麼回事？來看看 hit 這個字的道地用法。

1. We hit it off right away.

（Ｘ）我們立刻就打起來了。
（Ｏ）我們一拍即合／我們很投緣。

Hit 這個字，我們最熟悉的意思是「打、打擊」，例如：

• The boys are hitting at the dog. 男孩們正在打狗。

Hit 可引申為「碰撞」，兩人相處，有很好的碰撞，彼此融洽，就可以用 hit it off，經常用在初次見面，或相處時很快地建立默契：

• I met Sarah at the party last night, and we really hit it off. We talked for hours! 我昨晚在宴會上認識了Sarah，我們相處得非常融洽，聊了好幾個小時！

Hit it off 除了用來形容朋友、親密關係，也可以指工作或業務上的合作默契。

• When our team went out for lunch together, we really hit it off and had a great time getting to know each other. 當團隊一起出去用午餐時，我們相處得很愉快，也很開心互相了解。
• It's important for our team to hit it off with the client's team. Building a strong rapport will lead to better outcomes. 我們和客戶的團隊相處融洽很重要。建立牢固的融洽關係將會帶來更好的成果。

2. Hit me again.

（Ｘ）再打我一次。
（Ｏ）再來一杯／再給我一張牌。

這句話也可以省略 again，直接說＂Hit me.”。它有好幾個意思，常要從情境才能判斷意思。例如，如果是在酒吧，經常指「再給我來一杯」，例如：

• Hit me again, bartender. 服務員，再給我來一杯。

如果是玩撲克牌時，就是指「再給我一張牌」

• Hit me again, dealer! 發牌員，再給我一張牌！

單純＂Hit me”，之後不加 again，還可以用在一種對話情境，類似中文裡的「說吧／問吧！」：

A: May I ask you a question? 我可以問個問題嗎？
B: Hit me. 問吧！

3. Hit me up when you're back in town.

（Ｘ）回來時要來打我。
（Ｏ）回來時要聯絡我。

Hit up 是一個口語上的片語，指「聯絡」：

• Let me know in the comments or hit me up on Facebook. 在評論區留言，或在臉書上聯絡我。

如果加了一個介系詞「for」。hit someone up for，就有另一個意思，是「向某人要錢」，例如：

• She hit me up for $20. 她向我要 20 美元。
• I donated money to that charity a few months ago, and they're already hitting me up for more. 我幾個月前捐款給那個慈善機構，現在他們又來要更多了。
